At SANKOF, transparency is the foundation of our mission as a Sadaqatul Jariya (Ongoing Charity) initiative. This policy outlines how we collect, protect, and use your data to facilitate the 10,000 National Scholarship Initiative and the Monthly Grant Challenge.
1. Information We Collect
- Identity Data: Full Name, Email Address, and Phone Number provided during registration for the National Pool.
- Verification Data: State of Residence and academic background to ensure equitable distribution of scholarship slots across Nigeria.
- Performance Data: Course progress, assessment scores, and exam results used to determine qualification for the Monthly Capital Grants.
- Financial Data: Bank account details (strictly for winners) to process grant disbursements. We do not store your Debit Card details. All administrative fee payments are handled securely by Paystack.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To manage your enrollment in the tuition-free "Street MBA" modules.
- To maintain the integrity of the 10,000 scholarship slots and prevent duplicate registrations.
- To rank top performers in our national database for merit-based grant selection.
- To verify the identity of finalists before disbursing the ₦250,000 Monthly Grant Pool (to prevent fraud).
3. Public Disclosure & Transparency
To uphold the trust of the Ummah and prove the authenticity of our charity mission, SANKOF publishes a monthly "Top Performers List." By participating, you consent to the disclosure of your First Name, State, and Assessment Score if you qualify as a Grant Winner or a high-ranking Practitioner.
4. Data Security
Your data is stored in a secure environment using industry-standard encryption. As a developer-led platform, we prioritize cybersecurity to protect your academic records and personal details. Payments for the optional professional certificate are secured by Paystack, compliant with Nigerian financial regulations.
5. Third-Party Sharing
SANKOF does not sell or lease your personal data to advertisers. Data is only shared with:
- Financial Partners (Paystack/Banks): Necessary for processing administrative fees or grant payouts.
- Talent Network Partners: If you score 90% or higher and opt-in, we may share your professional profile with vetted employers for job placement opportunities.
6. Data Retention & Rights
You have the right to request access to your data or the deletion of your account. Records related to grant winners are retained for audit purposes to ensure the Sadaqatul Jariya funds are accounted for according to our ethical standards.
